Every now and then a new artist just happens to stumble onto your path and you give them a listen and enjoy what you hear. This is one of them. Theo Martins released this mixtape a few weeks ago, but I didn't pick up onto it until a few days ago. It's a short tape, but Theo's flow, rhymes and voice are unique and ear catching. The beats are a little different, but creativity is what moves an art form forward; and I will always applaud that. Theo is a Rhode Island native and this tape was actually released a month after his previous mixtape "Channel Surfin'," if you want to hear that, go here. That mixtape is dope. Trust.
