“How To”
So, you apparently are having a little trouble downloading the mixtapes huh?
Do not worry, you made it this far. You made it to the promise land of mixtapes, everything is free. Some people do have a little trouble with the downloads from time to time, so I will break it down for everyone who needs a little help.
First of all, the most common problems are that the mixtapes seem to ask for a password and that not all of the files unzip correctly.
We never password protect any files on the site, and all of the mixtapes are iPod ready complete with the mixtape cover art.
So, where to begin….
1) When browsing the Getrightmusic.com or the internet it is best to use Firefox, Safari or Explorer. If you are still browsing through AOL or Netzero or one of those providers then you should stop and download one of the mentioned browsers. They are all free, work on both Mac and Windows, and are highly recommended.
2) Mixtapes are compressed into one easy file for downloading known as a .zip file. These files are easily uncompressed using simple and free applications. Here is my favorite:

3) After you download the mixtapes using a suggested browser and extract them using Zipeg or an app of you choice, you then need to organize and listen to them. The best way to do it is with iTunes. iTunes works onboth Windows and Mac and there really is no reason not to have it on your computer. Mixtapes will be organized and heard perfectly using it. So download it here.
4) One of the newer features on this site is the use of Torrents. Torrents work on a peer to peer system for downloading. Downloading a Torrent file of a mixtape has it’s pros and cons, you can read about them here. To download Torrents you will need software which again is free and available for Mac and Windows. Here are my favorites.
