Alex Goose – The Blueprint 3 Outtakes

The producer Alex Goose was asked to submit beats for the Blueprint 3 album, unfortunately they didn’t make the cut, but that doesn’t mean that the world shouldn’t enjoy them. That’s exactly how he felt:
In the Spring of 2009, an A&R affiliated with the Roc got in contact with me. Shortly after, I had the opportunity to submit various tracks for Jay-Z’s long awaited “Blueprint 3″ album. Unfortunately, none of them made the final cut. After letting people here what I sent Hova (including people who know him), they all suggested I release them for the public to hear. This is what the Blueprint 3 could have been…

He straight jacked the shit out of that first beat "Rise".. it was used by Atmosphere for a song called "The Arrival".. having spent waaay too many hours playing Fight Night Rd. 3 for ps2 anyone should recognize that beat.. and the hook in Atmospheres song even goes "They Will Rise…"

I’m sorry, I’ve listened to this and only about 1 or 2 of these beats could I see Jigga even “experimenting” with. Also, most of this stuff is too underground, (i.e. RJD2, Cut Chemist-ish) for any mainstream artist to vibe to, honestly.
Also, there’s no way for us to know if the back story has any validity.
daammn some of these are real nice. I would love to hear someone spit somethin on "Dear Daisy". Thats a smooth ass fuckin beat. Could definitely see outkast going in hard over that.
In that Atmosphere song they actually say "They've arrived," but thats neither here nor there
These are some of the best "free" =) beats I have heard. Jay-Z could have used a few of these like Hova Needs This. That is by far my favorite one. I'm gonna use it to but I'm using it for a different J-Hova get it. Respect to Alex Goose for sampling Fight Night and making this shaft returns joint man.
