This is one of the best mixtapes to be put out so far this year. New York hip hop from 1994-2001 were the best years ever in hip hop. All of these songs evoke different emotions in me when I listen to them again after a few years. This era of hip hop is what I grew up on and will never forget. Kevin Casey did an excellent job selecting the tracks from these yesteryear’s that truly capture the sound of New York during that time. You really need to download this tape right now. I have lost a lot of these songs over the years in changing computers, iPods, hard drives, etc… so, having all these again and on one mix is a blessing. Thank you Kevin.     Though it would have been alot more better if the songs were in their full length, and not shortened so much.

    its definitely worth the while your in to that real new york sound or probably want to know what that real good music used to sound like! this kind of ish seems to be so hard to find these days!!
    check out ‘banned from TV’ and Apollo kids….awesome
