The other is produced by Tha Bizness. “So Disrespectful” takes a few shots at The Game and Young Buck. I haven’t decided which track I like better yet. Always a free download here. Get Right…

Mike Posner is back with his sophomore effort mixtape. This one is presented by Clinton Sparks, Dj Benzi and LRG Clothing. Lil Wayne – No Ceilings

October 28, 2009

It’s kind of sad that this got leaked already. It’s only a few days before the release, it’s a free download and now it’s leaked with no cover artwork. I was debating on whether or not to post it, but Nah Right went ahead and put it up. So, I might as well follow suit. It’d be nice if Lil Wayne adds some more music to it for the official release day which is Halloween. Doubt it… I’ll update the post with the artwork and official download when it officially drops. Mick Boogie & Idle Warship – Party Robot

October 27, 2009

Idle Warship (Talib Kweli, Res & Graph Nobel) release their first mixtape for their fans. Put together by Mick Boogie, the tape features all new music from the electronic-ish hip hop group. The music is a little different, but that’s what they strive for. Experimentation and creativity, which leads to evolving music and pushing the limits. Here’s what they said abut the project.

Idle Warship (Talib Kweli, Res & Graph Nobel) welcomes you to our first full length offering, Party Robot. This started out as a path to musical freedom. When we established Idle Warship, we did it for us. Now that we are giving you this music, Idle Warship no longer belongs to us, it belongs to the world. We don’t believe in labels for music. Labels make stop you from hearing something before you listen to it. We appreciate those who have taken this journey with us without judgment and enjoyed the ride. To everyone who purchased our music on iTunes and anyone who has bought a ticket to an Idle Warship show, this is for you. All my party robots stand up!

Chace Infinite – I Would Have Killed This

October 27, 2009

Cashmere Agency & Prohibit sponsored this mixtape from Chace Infinite, which is pretty straight fire. Thanks to The Over Feed where I spotted it. Cashmere Agency described the tape well. Here’s what they said:

Most Self Scientific fans know that a number of the songs that DJ Khalil does with other artists were originally songs or ideas intended for Self Scientific. Cashmere Agency and Prohibit NYC Present I Would Have Killed This is a full mixtape by Self Scientific’s frontman Chace Infinite and finds him going in over some of the more well-known beats that his partner, DJ Khalil, produced for other artists. The first joint leaked was over the popular “Kinda Like A Big Deal” track that featured The Clipse and Kanye West. Next, Chace attacked “I Still Kill,” the beat Khalil produced for 50 Cent and Akon. In classic Self Scientific fashion, Chace changes the subject matter to instead discuss life and his attempts to understand his own journey. Be sure to download the entire mixtape to hear the Chace Infinite put his own spin on 10 Khalil beats that were snatched up by other artists. The mixtape also contains a bonus of three original Self Scientific songs. – Cashmere Agency

October 26, 2009

Since Michael Jackson passed there have been quite a few MJ mixtapes, most of which were premature in nature and hadn’t been properly planned. That was until now. Most of the tracks are only about 2 minutes of the song, but this is a great Jackson mix to throw on and enjoy at a party or in your car. Jazzy Jeff executed it perfectly. If you haven’t downloaded an MJ mix yet since his passing, then this is the one you should get. Check out UNDRCRWN for the exclusive T-Shirt for the promotion of this mix. October 23, 2009

Hevehitta & Dj Unexpected are back with a new mixtape and still bringing their unique creativity to the table which sets them apart from the rest. This tape features Nas & Jay-Z, but showcases rare material such as unreleased demos and tracks that sort of slipped through the scene and never got recognized. The second half of the tape runs through some of the break-beats in which Nas and Jay-Z tracks were sampled from. An all round dope tape of material from the 2 nicest emcees of our time.
