Jay-Z ft. Drake – “We Off That”
August 24, 2009
Off course while I’m taking a vacation and doing some promo in Europe the Jay-Z/Drake track leaks. I think I’m allowed a late pass. Luckily, I got on the wi-fi and able to get the site updated. Drake is only on the hook and Timbaland produced the track. Always a free download here. Get Right…
Donnis – Diary Of An Atlanta Brave
August 21, 2009
10 Deep is back at it again with a brand new tape showcasing the talents of Donnis. 10 Deep is now getting known for really helping to break artists on the come up into the majors. First, with the Wale tape and then with the Kid Cudi tape. Donnis comes out of Atlanta has a very refreshing flow and talent. You may recognize the name from the 2-3 song “Snack Pack’s” he’s been releasing on the internet the past few months. For this tape he was able to secure production from people like Needlz, Nobody Famous and 5 tracks from the J.US.T.I.CE. League. The tape is also put together by Dj Benzi and presented by Mick Boogie. Donnis really couldn’t ask for a better introduction mixtape. The people at 10Deep really know how to do it. Check it out. B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray – Should Have Been The First Album
August 20, 2009
This isn’t an official mixtape from B.o.B., but rather a compilation put together by someone featuring some of the better Bobby Ray tracks to have been released in what “Should Have Been The First Album” from Ray. B.o.B. is definitely one of the better artists out of the “Freshman” class of rappers in my opinion. Especially since B.o.B. has a wide range of talents other than just rapping. If you haven’t really gotten into B.o.B.’s music yet, then this is a good download to get a feel. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Drake ft. Nipsey Hustle – “Killer”

A Drake and Nipsey Hustle collab? Who would have thought that would leak? The song is dope. If you haven’t downloaded that new Nipsey Hustle tape, you should do so as well. Search the site. Always a free download here. Get Right…
Mams Taylor – the R-eVoLuTiOn oF rUnK
August 19, 2009
For those who don’t know, next week the GetRightMusic.com staff will be headed to Europe for a promotional tour. We will be stopping in London for 4 nights so I figured it would be appropriate to post up a dope new tape from a new UK artist, Mams Taylor. The tape is mixed by Dj Skee & Dj Felli-Fel and has featuring spots from artists such as Fat Joe, The Game, Lil Kim and also artists like Robbie Williams & Billy Idol. The style of Mams’s music “rUnK” as he refers to it is a mash-up of rock, rap, and punk. The mixtape is in promotion for Taylor’s upcoming studio album “Persona Non Grata.†Check it out and broaden your horizons to across the pond. Always a free mixtape download over here. Consequence ft. Kanye West & John Legend – “Whatever You Want”
August 18, 2009
The more I listen to this track the more I like it. Here’s the full CDQ/Dirty version. Consequence may have a hit here on his hands. They are in the process of shooting the video, which should be done soon. Always a free download here. Get Right…
Havoc – From Now On
August 18, 2009
Half of Mobb Deep Havoc (The one who stays out of jail) releases a brand new mixtape featuring all new music from the Queens, NY artist. The mixtape doesn’t specify, but I’m sure that Havoc produced all of the tracks or almost all of them. Many people don’t know that Havoc is a very talented producer has produced many hits for many different artists. There is one track on here produced by J.Dilla though, which may be my favorite song on the tape. I’ll post some of the standout tracks after the break. It’s a dope tape, I’ve always been a Mobb Deep fan and this mixtape is probably better than the last Mobb album, which says a lot about that album… Always a free mixtape download over here. Memory Man: Raekwon – Cuban Revolution (Blend Tape)
August 17, 2009
Just another example of how major rap sites will post up mixtapes/music without listening to them in full. This tape is packaged and presented as a “Raekwon” mixtape, but the tape is put together by Memory Man and consists of acapella’s over wu-esque beats. Don’t get me wrong though, Memory Man puts together some good blends. He also puts together a good mixtape. I still downloaded it and am still posting it, because it’s dope. It just bothers me how it gets billed and then how others pick it up and post it without listening first. Especially the major sites, saying how none of these tracks will be on Rae’s new album. Oh really?? Thanks for the heads up there chief. Anyway though, I’ll get off my soapbox. Nice work Memory Man. Raekwon’s album will be out soon and from what I’ve heard, it’s pretty fire. Papoose – Military Grind
August 16, 2009
Why can’t Papoose get some good graphic design for his tapes? Same with Kay Slay. These two guys always have the cheapest crumiest looking artwork. Anyway, Papoose has sort of been laying low lately, but he’s back with a new tape. There was a time last year when he was dropping tapes like this about once every 2 months. Don’t know what caused the slow down in his work ethic… This new one features straight Papoose music. What the f is a Papoose anyway?… Always a free mixtape download over here. Dj Drama & Young L.A. – Lamborghini Leland
August 16, 2009
Grand Hustle’s Young L.A. links up with Dj Drama for an official Gangsta Grillz tape. This one sort of slipped by us over here at Get Right Music. It was released last week, but here it is now. Before this tape, I never quite listened to L.A. fully, always just verses here and there. But, this tape really showcases his talent and his worth over there with the Grand Hustle team. Not a whole lot of featuring spots on this tape, just pure exclusive music from Leland Austin. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads after th jump. Get Right…
Lil Wayne – The Leak Reloaded
August 16, 2009
I’m by no way a Lil Wayne release date expert, but most of these tracks sound pretty new to me. Featuring tracks with Fabolous, Omarian, Dj Drama, Rick Ross, Birdman and more. Some of the tracks seem to be off of Wayne’s upcoming rock album, that I guess is back on track for release. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. September 7th & Crooked I – Westside Slaughterhouse
August 14, 2009
Slaughterhouse is in heavy promo right now. Their album is out in stores now and they are also currently touring all over the place to promote it. Everyone has a favorite, I think, out of the four members of Slaughterhouse. Crooked I though is the only West Coast representative out of the bunch. September 7th reminds everyone of this fact on this latest tape “Westside Slaughterhouse.” Featuring lesser known Crooked tracks as well as some off of the new album. I honestly haven’t decided who out of the group is my favorite, but it’s probably between Crooked and Royce, maybe Budden on a good day. Anyway, the mixtape is dope. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads below. Get Right…
Dj Drama & Cam’Ron – Boss Of All Bosses
August 12, 2009
Dj Drama links up with Killa Cam for an official Gangsta Grillz mixtape. At times though it seems a though it’s a Vado tape with Cam featured. I’m guessing Vado is the new artist that Cam is promoting. Not sure if I’m a fan though yet. Some of his lines are just not working for me. But, I am a fan of hearing some new Cam’Ron music, even though The Empire leaked a lot of these cuts already. Here they are, all on one official Drama tape. Always a free mixtape download here. Esso – Off The Wall
August 11, 2009
I have always been biased to well done concept mixtapes and projects. A lot of times they aren’t done well, although I still applaud attempts, it still showcases an amount of creativity which forwards music and art. On this one, Esso comes correct with it. This project began work before MJ passed away, and it is entirely produced by Woody. Featuring 10 tracks of re-worked Michael Jackson “Off The Wall” songs. I’ll post Esso’s description below as he describes it best. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads below. Get Right…
So the time has finally come for the rest of the world to hear the project that Woody and I have been working so hard on since April. I can’t lie it’s kinda bittersweet for it to be gaining the attention that is has over the past weeks since Mike’s untimely passing. Honestly we set out to create an incredible project that would pay homage to Michael Jackson’s musical legacy not his life as a whole. No one song or project could ever acheive that lofty goal.
Woody and I set out months ago to rework one of the most important transitional albums in the history of popular music as we know it. The album that catapaulted Michael Jackson to Thriller proportions and left us unforgettable songs like Rock With You, Off The Wall, Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, Girlfriend and She’s Outta My Life. We turned those songs into Just Feel It, Life Like This, Don’t Stop and Girlfriend (but with a different spin). Michael has inspired countless entertainers across genres and Woody and I are no different that than many other members of our generation that grew up with one glove trying to moonwalk across our livingrooms.
I sincerely hope hat no one takes our project as an attempt to capitalize off of the death of a King. This project means way too much to me for it to ever be misunderstood. Â In the wake of the 30th Anniversary of Off The Wall it is with the utmost respect and reverence that we proudly present you the product of our labor for the past months. We hope that you enjoy the experience of listening to it as much as we enjoyed the experience of creating it.

Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa – How Fly
August 10, 2009
The Cheech and Chong of the new class release a brand new mixtape together featuring all new music that the duo recorded together over the past few months. How Fly showcases Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s love for the stoned life, but it maybe my favorite music from these two so far. They each have had their own mixtapes in the past (search the site) but together they seem to bring out the best. So break out some big bambu’s, put it in the air and lay back to the fly sounds of Curren$y and Wiz. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Ludwig Clothing Presents – Nevermind The Bullshit: Here’s Terry Urban Live
August 9, 2009
As a promotion Ludwig Clothing decided to release a live mix of a Terry Urban club set. Terry Urban, who has released notable mixtapes such as “Southerngold” and “Viva La Hova” with Mick Boogie, is a pretty damn good dj as well as mixtape master. This mix reminds me of something a Dj AM might do. Mixing up Hip Hop, Rock, Pop and a little dance remixness all together for one dope set. The type of mix you just press play on and let it go. I would suggest throwing this on at your next party if you want to get the party kick started. Check it out. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Nipsey Hustle -Bullets Ain’t Got No Names Vol.3
August 6, 2009
At first I wasn’t that open to listening to Nipsey Hustle. But, once again, my boy @mikeslim said that his new tape was dope and I should give it a listen. So, I gave it the listen and decided that it should be on the site for sure. The tape is good and Nipsey has skills. I know he’s got a pretty strong buzz out on the west coast and out here on the east he’s just starting to get a name. Getting Whoo Kid on the host was a good move in my opinion. Not sure who Johnny Shipes is though. I’ll post the mixtape stream below also. Check it out. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Trackstar The Dj & Dj Frequency – Welcome To The Freq Show
August 6, 2009
You know when Trackstar releases a tape it almost automatically gets a post. But, we still review everything we post before we put it up. Unlike pretty much every other major hip hop blog out there. Anyway, Trackstar gets together with Dj Frequency for this one. Frequency is currently working the Slaughterhouse tour. As well as being a great dj, Frequency is also a well groomed producer. This tape highlights some of Frequency’s productions. Featuring artists like 6th Sense, Ja Rule, Slaughterhouse, Cam’ron, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and much more. A dope mix once again by Trackstar. All the tracks are produced by Frequency. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads below. Get Right…
Chamillionaire – Mixtape Messiah 7 (Disc 1 & 2)
August 4, 2009
Chamillionaire is making good use of Twitter. He released the first disc of his Mixtape Messiah 7 today on Twitter and he’s releasing Disc 2 tomorrow. If you can’t wait for us to post it tomorrow, which we will, you can follow Chamilionaire here. It’s crazy that he’s on number 7 already of this mixtape series and still releasing them for free with no dj’s. Now all Cham has to do is monetize all these fans. Either way the Mixtape Messiah tapes are always dope and full of good quality free music. Come back tomorrow for Disc 2. Always a free download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Young Dro – Lo Life
August 4, 2009
Apparently Young Dro wants to make sure everyone know he rocks Polo clothing and other fancy things of that stature. I’m not a fan of the mixtape title, but the music is good and people like @mikeslim said we should have it up here on the site. So, here it is, the latest tape from Young Dro with featuring spots from Young LA, Akon and T.I. I do respect the fact that he dropped it with no dj. Always a free mixtape download here. Memory Man – Wu-Tang Clan Vs. D.I.T.C.
August 3, 2009
Personally, I’ve never heard of Memory Man before, but this mixtape is great on a creative level as well as in quality. Wu-Tang acapella’s over D.I.T.C. beats and then D.I.T.C. acapella’s over Wu-Tang beats. It works, and it works well. The tape is broken into Side A and Side B, just like an old school mix. Check it out, and props to Memory Man for making a great mix. Always a free mixtape download here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads below. Get Right…
Nas – “Film”
August 2, 2009
New Nas. This one’s produced by C-Sick. It leaked last week, but this is the official CDQ version. Check it out, pretty dope. I’m still waiting on more Damien Marley collab leaks though. Always a free download here. Get Right…
