Very rarely do I come across a mixtape that I extremely support and will promote unconditionally. This is one of them. Props to YN for putting me on. The mixtape is put together by Dj Fricktion and The Lovesoul Dj’s, coming out of England. The tape is also hosted by Wu-Tang, all of them, yes all of them. Pretty much in a short summary, the tape features classic Wu-Tang tracks as well as other classic music from that “Golden Era” of hip hop. Basically, everything I used to listen to as a freshman in high school (does that date me?..). That’s probably why I like the tape so much. But, this is when hip hop was hip hop and it let’s me reminisce a little bit. Just check the tracklisting and you’ll see what I mean. The tape also features exclusive interviews from Wu-Tang members.     haha… I just put together a "playlist" on my ipod a few months ago that is essentially every album that these songs come from – everything I used to put into my walkman and then my discman. now someone has taken the best tracks and laid them out for me… its a beautiful thang.

    Yes, those were the days of great hip hop. Nowadays the market is so flooded that you need recommendations just to download something.
