Dj Teddy King: Nas – Surviving The Times
January 27, 2009
It’s not often that mixtapes like this come around. Teddy King released this mixtape a few months ago and it received rave reviews across the boards. The mixtape features truly vintage and rare Nas cuts. T.K. did not want to release the mixtape digitally at first, since it was, one a major project and two entirely mixed with records and digitizing takes away from that analog sound. This is why I am proud to announce that Teddy King has agreed to release this mixtape digitally and exclusively with Get Right Music. This is not your run-of-the-mill Nas mixtape. This tape is serious and features tracks that are almost impossible to find. Teddy King puts it all together wonderfully. You won’t find any of the popular Nas tracks here. The mixtape is two discs and therefore a large download. So be patient, it’s worth it. The first disc features vintage and rare music from Nas, while the second disc is a rare Nas mix from Teddy King on the East Village Radio show in NYC. The mixtape was released originally through Boundless music. Boundless is one of the finest streetwear clothing shops in NYC. Check them out to get yourself a physical copy of this mix and some dope clothing while you’re at it. Alright, that should be enough to convince you to download. Remember, always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads after the jump. Get Right…
