XXL Magazine recently put out this mixtape/compilation that features 10 of the newest artists on the scene now that are making a decent buzz. All of the artists featured on the tape have been featured on Get Right Music and most of them have a few mixtapes that you should download. This is a great mixtape to download to get a feel for what’s going on in the industry and the way things are moving. They are all great artists and hopefully they have successfull careers in music. *Update* XXL Magazine wrote an article about this post here. According to them this isn’t the official XXL mixtape that’s dropping. They said that Get Right Music can’t get it’s music right… I wrote to the author and asked them next time to simply send me an email and ask me to remove the post. I’m downloading this tape as we speak but already know most of these artist, I have yet to hear Blu, Charles Hamilton or Kid Cudi but have mixtapes of CH and KC I haven’t got around to listen to yet. All these guy’s are good and deserve success, I have mixtape’s by all of them. The only one I’m still skeptical about is Asher Roth, he’s alright. I think Question is a better rapper but who am I to judge. If you haven’t heard these guy’s download this shit and they solo mixatpe’s, 09’s looking like it could be a good year for hip hop, let’s see what happen’s! Oh yeah download Question’s mixtape too “signed Hype”, that shit is fire!!!!!

This mixtape is real funny to me because I’m the one that put it together. XXL seemed to get really mad about it. I made the cover in Photoshop by combining all the magazine covers together. It’s nice to know that my mixtape is being downloaded all over and getting some decent recognition.
Joe Schmoe, I posted this mixtape a while back and then XXL wrote that article about me posting it up and how I couldn’t even get my music right on the site and blah blah blah, so I took it down and emailed them apologizing for the mix up. I also asked to get an email back and that next time to act a little more professional about it and maybe send me an email before writing an article about my site trashing it. So I gave them a few weeks and no response so I reposted it. Anyway, it’s a good mixtape, nice job. F XXL.
Jesse, I think its funny how XXL got so upset over my mixtape. It wasn’t on purpose but they took it that way. It wasn’t supposed to be anything special but I like how they tried to steal my idea. I put this mixtape together before they even released the statement that they were making their own mixtape. I agree with you. F XXL.
