Green Lantern is co-signing this new artist by hosting his latest mixtape. Novel, who I have heard around before is signed to Rowdy Records which is based out of Texas but was founded by LA Reid and a few others. I first heard Novel back in early 2000 w/ a single he had on Rawkus Records called “Peach” He was singing then and actually wasn’t too bad. HIs singing voice is like Prince/De’Angelo falsetto at times and a little “gutta” like Lyfe Jennings. He did his MC thing back then too. I’m interested in hearing what he’s bringing now. I hope he didn’t drop the singing as a whole cuz he could definitely take advantage and go far doing both if done wisely.
