The Clipse recently made hip hop headlines when they decided sign a label deal with Columbia Records. They will own their own masters and they will start work on a new studio album featuring production from Danjahandz, Dame Grease, Timbaland and more. I decided to put up a few of The Clipse mixtapes that have dropped in the past, but are still dope tapes. New Features on the Site
October 25, 2007
First of all I want to thank everyone who visits this site and continues to help spread the word to others. Get Right Music is currently a one man operation and often takes a lot of time to sift through all of the garbage mixtapes around to only bring you the best. For those who don’t know, we are one of the fastest growing hip hop sites for mixtape downloads. Thank you for all of the grassroots promotion and marketing. So, there are a few new things going on here that I just wanted to remind everyone about. I’ll put them in a nice little list to make it easier to read.
1.) We recently launched a mobile version of Get Right Music optimized for the iPhone and iPod Touch, but not limited to all mobile devices. The web address is simple: http://mobile.getrightmusic.com. Please leave feedback on this if you have experienced it, as it is still in it’s early stages.
2.) We just launched a Facebook page for everyone who uses Facebook. On Facebook you will be consistently updated when a new mixtape is posted on this site. As well as updates, Facebook is a great place to leave questions, comments and whatever else about the site. Check out the page and friend me here.
3.) On the right side of the site there is now a “Donate” button if anyone is feeling generous. I know a few people have asked me if there is a way to donate and help out, now there is. Thank you very much.
4.) Also on the right side of the site there is an “Email Newsletter” sign-up form. This is pretty self-explanatory, I don’t send out emails all the time, only when big things are going on over here. But, it is a great way to stay in contact with site news.
5.) We will also now be offering Torrent files of each mixtape to download. Torrent files are more of a peer to peer thing, but some people prefer to use them to download media. Do a search on torrents if you are unsure what they are.
Alright, well those are the main things. Once again thank you all for keeping this site strong. Get Right Music will keep growing thanks to you. Please leave me some comments on this post. Peace. Get Right…

Tapemasters Inc. & Chris Brown – A Young Man’s World
October 25, 2007

The Tapemasters Inc. are at it again. This time with a little mixtape for the ladies. I figured I might as well post it for 2 reasons. Number one, all the remixes are on here, with featuring spots from The Game, Jadakiss, Juelz Santana, Lil Wayne Busta Rhymes and more. Number 2, I personally feel that Chris Brown is the best doing it right now in the Pop scene and has the most room for improvement due to his young age. So, if you need a great mix to hear what Chris Brown has to offer, then this tape is for you. Good audio quality and nicely arranged. Dj Bedz – Kwality Kontrol (Hosted by Talib Kweli)
October 21, 2007

Dj Bedz puts together a really good mixtape here. His motto printed right on the mixtape is “For those who like their mix cd’s mixed.” I like that, because I still enjoy and respect the mixtape dj who actually takes the time to mix tracks together in a unique and creative way. This new mixtape features new music from Talib Kweli off of his latest studio album (Eardrum), as well as exclusive Kweli remixes. Also featuring tracks from Pharoahe Monch, Smith-n-Wesson, Freeway, Snoop Dogg, Craig Mack, Nas, Lupe Fiasco and more. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. Get Right…

October 20, 2007
The Empire aka Big Mike aka Mixtrap.com and Lil Wayne drop their latest mixtape together. The Drought is Over 4 features all new music from Lil Weezy aka the mixtape monster. Lil Wayne must really just live in the studio. But it is proof that in these days you need to constantly stay updated with new material or people forget. Dj Drama – Gangsta Grillz 17
October 16, 2007

I’m glad to see that the Feds can’t stop and won’t stop Dj Drama. After being arrested earlier this year for producing mixtapes, Dj Drama had to put a slight pause on his up-coming official studio album. So here is the official mixtape before the studio album that is supposed to drop on December 4th. The mixtape features new tracks form Ludacris, T.I. Andre 3000, Young Jeezy and more. The mixtape gives a preview as to what is coming on Drama’s up-coming album. Featuring 27 tracks with some skits and freestyles mixed in. A definite good download in my book. This new one features 33 instrumentals from artists such as 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Sean Paul, Styles P and more. Worth the download for any remixer or rapper. World Wide Legacy – Real Hood Luv Again (Hosted by Jadakiss)
October 14, 2007

World Wide Legacy puts together a best of “recent” Jadakiss tracks. It’s pretty much a mixtape full of the latest Jada cuts. Featuring full songs, freestyles and tracks where Jada was featured on, like the “A Bay Bay Remix” or the “Wipe Me Down Remix.” It says hosted by Jadakiss, but from what I can see and hear all he does is make a little intro drop. I guess that can qualify now for a “Host.” Anyway there are no exclusives on here, but it is a good compilation if you are Jada fan and need some of the recent tracks. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. Get Right…
Dj Chuck T – Down South Slangin Instrumentals 11

Dj Clue – The Storm Ultimatum
October 12, 2007

I feel like it has been a while since Clue has dropped a true mixtape and not a “album” mixtape. Anyway, I have always been a Clue fan. On this new mixtape Clue drops some new music mainly out of the East Coast. Featuring new music from Beanie Sigel, Foxy Brown, Red Cafe, Nas, Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Jay-Z, The Lox and more. The mixtape also is in good audio quality and Clue doesn’t scream over the tracks like some others we know. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. Get Right…
Big Mike & Styles P – The Phantom Menace
October 10, 2007

Big Mike and Styles P team up for a new mixtape with a kinda strange, kinda weird, kinda scary, kinda cool cover. Anyway, the new mixtape is the official release (not the compilation Styles P mixtapes that pop up before the official release). Styles has been working hard lately and dropping a lot of new music for us. The surprising thing to me is that this mixtape doesn’t feature Jadakiss or Sheek Louch. It does feature the up and coming D-Block member Bully (for those who care). But, amidst all of that, I am a huge Styles P fan and LOX fan. So, I will always promote a D-Block mixtape. No matter how much I despise Big Mike and his whole mixtrap.com thing that he’s trying to do. So check it out and download the mixtape. It features 37 tracks. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download.” Get Right…
