Evil Empire Presents Jim Jones & Lil Wayne – Young Money Byrd Gang
August 29, 2007

Alright, one more Evil Empire mixtape for ya. This one features new Jim Jones and Lil Wayne. Personally, I’m still a little sick of Lil Wayne, he kinda flooded the market too hard. Sometimes it’s better to create a yearning for your material. Anyway, I’m still feeling his new track produced by Dr. Dre, “Dynamic.” It’s the first track on the mixtape. This tape also features new music from Jim Jones, such as the unreleased “Gangsta Life,” and the Dj Khaled Produced “No Hook” featuring Cassidy and Styles P. Overall this is a dope mixtape. Evil Empire, Dj Diggz & Dj Rokz – The Unit Reigns Supreme
August 28, 2007

The Evil Empire, Dj Diggz and Dj Rokz team up to release a new mixtape featuring new G-Unit music. Mainly featuring new 50 Cent, but also featuring new Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep and Young Buck. I have always been a fan of the Dj Diggz mixtapes. Usually strictly east coast tapes and always very grimmy. Nothing crazy exclusive on this one, but there is some new Havoc and Lloyd Banks that I haven’t heard yet. J-Armz & Cutmaster D.C. – “How To Be An MC (80’s Edition Vol.1)”
August 27, 2007

J-Armz links up with Cutmaster D.C. (awfully close to the more popular Cutmaster C) to bring drop an 80’s version on his popular instrumental mixtapes. I have always been a fan of a J-Armz mixtape. Instrumentals are a great tool for remixing as well as working with if you yourself are an aspiring artist. No doubt, J-Armz is the best in the game when it comes to instrumental mixtapes. This one features beats from such classic artists as EPMD, RUN-DMC, Eric B, Biz Markie and more. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklisting and download. Get Right…

August 25, 2007

Here is Big Mike’s latest mixtape with Dj Thoro. This new one features new music from mainly the east coast. Featuring some new 50 Cent, D-Block, Jim Jones, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and more. Your typical Big Mike mixtape, nothing very creative, but probably a few new tracks that you might want to have in your stash. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. Clinton Sparks & Talib Kweli – “The Get Familiar Street Album”
August 25, 2007

Clinton Sparks and Talib Kweli team together to promote Kweli’s new studio album, “Eardrum”. The album is already out, but this is just a help in the promotion. This new mixtape is basically a street album (hence the title). Featuring new tracks, a couple of interludes, and some Clinton Sparks produced remixes and tracks. Dj Kool Kid – We Run New York
August 21, 2007

Here’s Kool Kid’s latest mixtape, “We Run New York.” Featuring new music from the G-Unit camp. Mainly featuring new 50 Cent, but also featuring new Lloyd Banks, MOP, Young Buck, Havoc and more. I feel like Kool Kid has been flooding the market recently with new tapes, sometimes less tapes produce better quality. This looks like a decent tracklist though. August 21, 2007

Dj Burn One & Bubba Sparxxx – Survive Till Ya Thrive
August 18, 2007

Here is a new mixtape from Dj Burn One and Bubba Sparxxx. Bubba has been on the low for a little bit recently. He re-surfaced about a year ago with his “booty rocking everywhere” track. Bubba seems to have kinda switched his flow up a little bit since “Ugly” and the other tracks that he did while working with Timbaland. This new mixtape features new material over original beats. There is some good work on this mixtape. Bubba is trying to find a spot to fit in I guess, and I feel like you can kind of hear it in his tracks. Take a listen and let me know what you all think. Dj Klapton – New Jersey Drive (Joe Budden) *Bonus: Mood Muzik 2*
August 15, 2007

Dj Klapton just released a new mixtape featuring all new Joe Budden. A definite download for any Budden fan. This mixtape came at a good time, there is a void right now with anything Budden. So, this new release for me was exciting. Anyway, now you know I’m a Joe Budden fan. This new tape features new music off of Budden’s upcoming mixtape, “Mood Muzik 3″ as well as his upcoming long awaited studio album, “The Growth.” A definite download. Get Right Music – “50 vs. Kanye” Exclusive Mixtape
August 13, 2007

So, I decided that there needed to be a new mixtape put out that had 50 and Kanye going head to head. Due to the lack of one on the scene, I put one together myself. This mixtape features the newest 50 and Kanye music I could get my hands on. I’m sure that in a few days there will be a couple more leaked tracks, but this is what I had for now. I also threw on the 50 Cent interview with Funkmaster Flex, where he speaks on not moving his album date because of Kanye. For those who don’t know, 50 said he will retire from solo albums if Kanye outsells him on the 11th. We’ll see what happens. Personally I don’t like to see any artist use September 11th as a part of their marketing plan for a release date. But whatever, here is the mixtape. All of the tracks are dj talking free and of the highest quality I could get. Let me know what you all think and feel free to spread it around. Dj Diggz & Rated R – Potent Product 2
August 13, 2007

Dj Diggz and Rated R are hard on their grind these days. This is the latest mixtape from the duo. Featuring new music out of the east coast. In particular , this new tape features music from Styles P, Jim Jones, A-Mafia, Stack Bundles, Uncle Murda, Mobb Deep and more. Definitely a grimy east coast mixtape. Dj Rondon – Dancehall Reggae 41
August 13, 2007

I figured I would put up a little reggae for everyone. After a few requests, I decided to switch it up a little bit. So, here is Dj Rondon’s 41st mixtape in his “Dancehall Reggae” series. Featuring 51 tracks of new music from artists such as; Mr. Vegas, TOK, Vybez Kartel, Capelton, Movado and more. Download it and enjoy a little dancehall. Dj Whiteowl – “50 Cent vs. Two Five” *bonus: “Who is Two Five”
August 10, 2007

Here is Dj Whiteowl’s latest mixtape, “50 Cent vs. Two Five” as well as the bonus mixtape “Who Is Two Five (Two Five’s first mixtape)”. For those who don’t know, Two Five is 50 Cent’s cousin who is from Queens and has been rapping for a little bit now. 50 Cent doesn’t give him the time of day and will rarely even comment about him. Personally I feel like he is better than Tony Yayo, but you can be the judge. The Whiteowl tape features 50 Cent tracks and then Two Five tracks. Almost all of them are new releases. The “Who Is Two Five” mixtape is his first and features full songs over exclusive beats, it was technically a street album. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklists and downloads. Dj Lust & Dj Diggz – Rise 2 Power 3
August 9, 2007

Here is Dj Diggz’ latest mixtape with Lust. This mixtape is strictly East Coast. Featuring music from Styles P, Cassidy, Stack Bundles, Jim Jones, 40 Cal, Cormega and more. The standout tracks on here are: “Stop Schemin” – Styles P (Which sounds like a 50 diss to me), “I Get Money” – Joell Ortiz, Cassidy & Hell Rell, and “Stuntin” – Cormega & Hell Rell. Overall this is a pretty good mixtape, especially if you need some more New York in your life. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. Get Right…
Saigon “The Yardfather”, Nas “Pre-Matic”, Pharrell “In My Mind” & Dr. Dre “Dretox”
August 6, 2007

Here are four of my personal favorite mixtapes. I figured since there is a little downtime in the new release area, and I haven’t been able to get my hands on anything older than 1998, I would post a couple of my favorites. I posted these a while ago, about a year ago. That was when Get Right Music was an old site, it seems like ages. Anyway, here are four dope mixtapes that I always have in the mix somewhere. Download them now if you haven’t already. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklists and downloads. Get Right… Read more

Big Mike & Dj Thoro – Addicted to the Game Pt. 7
August 4, 2007

Here is Big Mike’s latest “Addicted to the Game” mixtape. On this one he teams up with Dj Thoro and gets the cd hosted by Styles P. The mixtape has a bunch of new Styles P, Cassidy, Lil Wayne, Jim Jones and then some paid slot spots. Big Mike needs to get some money too. Although he probably is making it now with mixtrap.com. I don’t know how that format of actually selling mixtapes still works, but he’s still trying to make it happen. Best of luck Mike. Click on the “Continue Reading” link for the tracklist and download. The latest from Team Invasion (Green Lantern’s Squad) brings some new music from Rick Ross, Casssidy, Ludacris, Chamillionaire, and of course Green Lantern’s own Uncle Murda. Team Invasion has been putting together some dope tapes recently. No crazy exclusives here, but these days mixtapes don’t really have crazy exclusives, because all of them are leaked as singles already. Anyways, check it out if you’re an Uncle Murda fan. Tapemasters Inc. – Jay-Z “The Hustler, The King, The American Dream”
August 1, 2007

Here is the latest mixtape from Tapemasters Inc. This one features Jay-Z and is part of a 2 mixtape series. I chose to post this particular mixtape because this one has more of the classic Jay-Z on it. Featuring such tracks as “Where I’m From,” “D’Evils,” “So Ghetto,” and “Squeeze 1st.” This is definitely a great tape to put in the car, push play and forget about it.
